Dear UoMom Members, :grouphug:
Kidpower has just received a very generous donation of $300 from UofMom thanks to your fundraising. This money will help us to continue to provide "People Safety" education to children, teenagers, and adults, including those with special needs, everywhere.
I'd like to share just one of thousands of success stories with you from a mother who wrote, "Having the language and tools to talk with our kids about keeping themselves safe has made such a difference to my peace of mind. They use the trash can for throwing away hurting words and their walkaway power instead of getting into fights. And yesterday, when a man approached my daughter at the park, she came straight to me to check first instead of letting him get close to her. As soon as she got to me, the man left."
Thanks to your support, we are able to get information out in the world that prepares people, especially children, to build better relationships, speak up for themselves and others, and protect themselves from possible danger.
With many thanks and warm regards,
Irene from Kidpower
