my neighbor and I went hiking last sunday, and tonight just got back from a 3-mile walk. Scott came home from work, I ran to the store and bought some frozen pizzas and said -here's dinner, I'm goin for a walk! And I did! I was gone for about an hour or a little less- and just that small break from the kids was so great.
It's been pouring rain here for the last three days straight, so we've all been cooped up and I was reaching the end of my rope.
That walk- just exercising and gabbing with my neighbor- was so helpful. I don't have my teeth clenched sitting here! :lol:
I never had the chance to find out how a small break would really help me because I never had anyone to allow me to take a break! And I just hate going out alone. So it's been really awesome getting to know my neighbor, and it really helps me to have her to socialize with! And getting a nice break from the babes!
