Welcome to University of Mom. We are glad you joined our community!
University of Mom was created to give women and men a supportive place online to seek advice from parenting to hobbies and to hang out and have some fun! We are women and men from all walks of life, in all shapes and sizes and in all stages of parenthood (yes the tiny little future glimmer of wanting a child counts too ;) ). No matter what our backgrounds, we are all here for a similar purpose: To learn and grow in our many roles in our lives.
We have tons of fabulous forums for exploring and enjoyment. The Quad (http://www.uofmom.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=7) is our main forum to hang out and talk about our day. Other forums include topics related to parenting, such as Pregnancy (http://www.uofmom.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=11),Tweens to Teens (http://www.uofmom.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=33), and Natural Parenting (http://www.uofmom.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=14) to name a few. We have other forum topics relating to the many other areas in our lives (we call these Electives), since we all have different interests, hobbies and roles we fulfill. So grab your knitting needles, camera or glue gun and join us over in Arts & Crafts (http://www.uofmom.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=55)or perhaps you're ready to market your talents along with the ladies over in Small Business 101 (http://www.uofmom.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=37).
